DreamLarge to host free community concert in Rosemary District

Published June 22, 2022

DreamLarge is hosting a free community concert on June 25 in the Rosemary Art & Design District featuring Sarasota bands Physical Plant and Me Umbra and Orlando-based blues band Shreddie King.

The "RADD Show" concert will be held from 8-10 p.m. in the DreamLarge Yard, 600 Central Ave.

Physical Plant (Physicalplantmusic.com), founded at New College of Florida and self-described as reanimated from the cryogenics lab of 1976, is a four-piece rock band incorporating high-energy funk, heavy guitars, and ambitious arrangements. Me Umbra (Meumbra.com) features graduates from New College’s music program and blends electronic synths, organic keys, and deep bass. Shreddie King is a blues powerhouse band that embodies the distinctive guitar playing of Freddie King.

RADD (Rosemary Art & Design District) began as an initiative of DreamLarge with a group of community-centric creatives who held the desire to further the Rosemary District through the strategic application of creativity and design.
